The 22-year-old was a constant menace throughout as Daniel Sturridge, Dejan Lovren and Jordan Henderson also scored gainst the German club.
Coutinho’s first time pass released Daniel Sturridge to open the scoring for the Reds in the 10th minute as the Brazilian, full of intelligent movement and clever flicks, continued to threaten in the final third in combination with Sturridge and Raheem Sterling.
