Brazilian duo Willian and Filipe Luis celebrated their birthdays on board an aeroplane on Saturday as the club jetted to Hungary to face Ferencvaros in Budapest.
Willian, 26, and new signing Luis, 29, will then return to Stamford Bridge with the rest of the Chelsea squad for a final pre-sesaon game against Real Sociedad.
Meanwhile, Brazilians Oscar, Ramires and Willian all made their first appearances of pre-season as José Mourinho’s side played two 45-minute matches against Fenerbahce and Besiktas in Istanbul.
The Blues begin their Premier League campaign away at Burnley on Monday 18 August.
