Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has admitted that he is unsure when Philippe Coutinho will sign a new deal.
The attacking midfielder, who was overlooked for Brazil’s World Cup squad, has been a revelation since arriving from Internazionale last January and Rodgers is eager to tie him down to improved terms.
“I am not sure when it will be done,” he said, as reported by Sky Sports.
“I haven’t spoken to any of the directors in the last few days so I am not sure where we are on that, but obviously he is someone we want to tie up for a period of time.
“I am sure I will hear more about it when I get back on Tuesday.”
