Flamengo attacking midfielder Lucas Mugni has agreed his move to Qatari club Al Rayyan, according to reports surfacing from Brazilian news agency lancenet.com.
Flamengo have accepted a bid for the Argentine who only joined them in January of this year from Colon, for around €1 million, and the deal is believed to have been sealed last night for the 22 year-old.
It is a further blow to a Flamengo side that have been toiling in the Brazilian league championship of late, propping up the standings as they do with a mere ten points from 13 games,
New head coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo with be loathed to lose one of his more talented players, especially when Flamengo have crucial games coming up against the likes of Sport Recife and Coritiba in the coming weeks.
In his brief spell with Flamengo, Lucas helped them to win the Carioca state championship earlier this year.
