Flamengo Head Coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo has insisted he is only focused on survival.
His club currently sit bottom of the 2014 Brasileirão after 13 rounds and the tactician maintains that the players must accept responsibility if they are to climb clear of the drop.
“The players must understand that they must get the club out of this situation that they have put it into,” he said, as reported by O Globo.
“We have 10 points and we need 37 points to avoid relegation. That means we need 47 percent of the 78 points still available. That’s our championship.”
