The agent of renegade Chilean midfielder Jorge Valdivia wants his client to get in touch so he can propose where he should next resume his playing career.

Valdivia had allegedly signed a deal to play in the UAE with Al Fujairah, only to leave the Middle east and go on holiday in North America as his former club Palmeiras wondered as to his whereabouts.

A plea from Valdivia’s father has so far failed to envoke a response, and now agent Wagner Ribeiro has publicly said that he will find the player a new club, assuming that going to the UAE was not his intended move.

Ribeiro told reporters: “I want to talk to him so I can understand what went wrong in the UAE. But already I have other proposals for him, including a first division club of the French Championship.”

“Let’s analyse this clamly, because the Europe transfer window only ends on the 31st (of August).”

Palmeiras are reportedly unhappy with Valdivia after having to pay his wages during the month of July because of the failed move to Fujairah.
