Muricy defends Sao Paulo after third game without a winAlan Kardec scored Sao Paulo's goal
Sao Paulo boss Muricy Ramalho saw his side's stuttering form continue with a draw at home to Criciuma but claimed that the side are going in the right direction and that it will all click at some point.
Muricy has watched his team lose two and draw one of their last three league games and is under pressure to gel a squad of superstars to mount a push for championship honours. So far, however, Kaka, Ganso, Kardec and Pato have failed to do so.
Speaking after the 1-1 draw, Muricy said: "The two attackers created a lot, especially Pato. I counted six or seven opportunites. That left us satisfied. We're not happy with the result."
On Pato in particular, he added: "I think he was good. He moved a lot and created opportunities."
Sao Paulo's point leaves them in seventh place in the Brasileirao table after 13 matches, nine points adrift of leaders Cruzeiro.
