Barcelona midfielder Rafinha is in no doubt that Luis Enrique will prove to be a success as manager of the club, after spending a season under his watchful eye with Celta Vigo last time out.

Brazil U-20’s Rafinha, son of 1994 World Cup winner Mazinho, told news agency AS: “He’s a coach with clear ideas, he’ll succeed easily.”

“The group is very easy to get on with. They’re good people, very good people. They want me to perform well and prove myself physically.”

Regarding Barca’s pre-season in England, Rafinha said that it “serves to take us to the physical level we need. This climate is perfect for pre-season because it is very hot in Barcelona. The facilities are incredible, among the best in the world.”

The 21 year-old will certainly be hoping for some quality game time in the year ahead, with Enrique going public upon his arrival at Barcelona that the youngster was in his plans to take the club back to title-winning form.
