Flamengo President Eduardo Bandeira de Mello has admitted he is unsure whether a deal for Milan forward Robinho is feasible.

The 30 year-old Brazil international is expected to leave Italy this summer, but de Mello concedes Flamengo would need financial support from an investor to bring him back to Brazil.

“There is nothing concrete as far as the arrival of Robinho to Flamengo goes,” he told SporTV.

“When going through with a reinforcement of this size, it must be a project with investors and companies that want to associate their image with the player.

“This has to be planned carefully. At the moment we are still experiencing difficulties.”
