Corinthians have started to make moves to bring in the twin brother of recent signing Angel Romero, the Paraguayan who joined the club from Cerro Porteno last month.

Forward Angel, who has one cap for his country, was transferred to Brazilian football in June and has played three league games for Corinthians so far, without yet bagging his first goal.

And now the Sao Paulo side want to sign his sibling Oscar, who is seen as more of a wide player, from the same Paraguayan club. According to lancenet.com, the fee would be in the region of £4 million and Oscar would not join until the end of the calendar year.

Angel told the media last week that “it would be wonderful to see it here. It would be ideal for me and my family to have my brother here.”

Oscar has actually represented Paraguay six times already and has scored one international goal.
