Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri is thought to be a fan of the Brazilian centre-half and is currently looking for defensive reinforcements, reports Tuttosport.
With limited transfer funds available, Juventus are searching South America for potential signings, with Colombian Éder Balanta, of River Plate, and Dedé, of Cruzeiro, thought to be the main targets.
Dedé is thought to be the preferred option of coach Massimiliano Allegri and previously tried to take the defender, then at Vasco, to AC Milan when he was coach there.
The 26-year-old offers experience whereas Éder Balanta, at 21, is thought to be valued at €6 million and would represent more of a gamble.
Juventus, however, may prefer to offload Vidal or Isla before making any bids, such is the financial situation at the Old Lady.
