Reports in England suggest Brazil midfielder Sandro could be set to leave Tottenham Hotspur, should head coach Mauricio Pochettino sign Southampton’s Morgan Schneiderlin and Jay Rodriguez.
The White Hart Lane club are trying to sign England international Rodriguez and France midfielder Schneiderlin from Premier League rivals Southampton but current players would need to be sold to accommodate the Saints duo, should the double transfer take place.
Sandro has been linked with a move away from Spurs all summer, with Napoli heavily linked with the 25-year-old, and Evening Standard believe he could be heading for the exit door once and for all.
Schneiderlin is a similar player to the Brazilian, so therefore it seems logical that Pochettino would allow Sandro to leave should he secure the signature of the Southampton midfielder.
Meanwhile, the Herts and Essex Observer believe Tottenham are willing to cash in on the former Internacional man and are expecting Napoli to make another bid for him.
Although Sandro is a fan favourite, injury problems have restricted him from consistently showing the form which initially made him a star following his move from Brazil.
And while many Tottenham fans will be disappointed to see him leave, a departure may be best for all parties involved.
