Julio Cesar returns to parent club Q.P.R.Cesar won his 87th Brazil cap at the World Cup
Brazil goalkeeper Julio Cesar has returned to parent club Q.P.R. after completing a loan spell at MLS outfit FC Toronto, a move he originally made in order to gain match sharpness ahead of the recent World Cup.
Cesar, 34, has come back to England with his situation now very much up in the air, with Q.P.R. boss Harry Redknapp having sealed the contract extension of his number one, Robert Green.
An ever present in Brazil's run to the semi final of the World Cup, Cesar is one of the most decorated keepers around, having won five Serie A titles as well as the Champions League with Italian side Inter Milan.
He still has two years left on the deal he signed with Q.P.R. when he joined them and his healthy wage is expected to perturb potential suitors from bidding for his services, although Portuguese side Benfica are known to be interested.
