São Paulo midfielder Kaká to face Goiás on SundayKaká last turned out for São Paulo in 2003
The former AC Milan and Real Madrid star finally looks set to make his second debut in a São Paulo shirt after coach Muricy Ramalho all but confirmed that the midfielder will take Osvaldo’s place in the starting line-up this weekend, as the Tricolor revert to a 4-4-2 formation.
Kaká started for the first team against an Under-17 side on Thursday and it is now practically guaranteed that he will face Goiás in Sunday’s Brasileirão clash.
The number 8 will remain at São Paulo on loan until the end of the year, after the Paulista club came to an agreement with Kaká's new owners, Orlando City FC, who will only start competing from 2015 onwards.
Having suffered a shock 1-0 defeat to Chapecoense in their last outing, São Paulo will be hoping that Kaká’s presence inspires the team to a better result on Sunday.
São Paulo team to face Goiás: Rogério Ceni; Douglas, Rafael Toloi, Antonio Carlos and Alvaro Pereira; Rodrigo Caio, Souza, Ganso and Kaká; Ademilson and Alan Kardec.
