Parma forward Amauri looks set to remain with the club despite having several lucrative offers from teams elsewhere.

Clubs from Australia, the Middle East and from his native Brazil have been linked with signing the 34-year-old striker.

Australian side Sydney FC and Brazilian outfit Bahia had both registered an interest in the Italy international, according to Forza Italian Football.

Gazetta dello Sport also report an unnamed Middle East club are chasing the forward but that Amauri has insisted once more that he wishes to remain with Parma.

After initially struggling with the Serie A outfit, the Brazilian born forward excelled last season under Roberto Donadoni and seems likely to see out the final year of his contract with the Crusaders.

Though Amauri was born in Brazil, he has previously acquired Italian citizenship and represented the Azzurri once in 2010 and it now seems likely that he will remain in Italy for the time being.

The 34-year-old scored eight times in 20 Serie A starts last season and will be hoping for another fruitful season under the management of Donadoni.
