Fluminense and Palmeiras have opened negotiations about the possible transfer of left back Juninho from the Sao Paulo club to the Rio de Janeiro-based team.
Juninho, 24, has been at Palmeiras for two years after making the switch from Figueirense and has lifted the Copa do Brasil and Serie B championship in his time there.
And Brazilian news outlet lancenet.com have suggested that the player could move to Fluminense on a six-month loan deal before a permanent transfer happens.
He has been out of favour at Palmeiras for some time now and had been linked with a move to Europe, but there were no concrete suitors found for his services.
