Brazilian star Kaka is in line to make his Sao Paulo debut in their next game against Goias this Sunday, according to reports in the national media.
The former Real Madrid and AC Milan playmaker, often described as one of the best talents of a generation, had asked for more time to regain fitness and so was not considered for Sao Paulo’s shock loss at the weekend at home to Chapecoense.
But he is now thought to be in contention for their next league game as boss Muricy Ramalho tries to figure out how to accommodate a vast array of attacking options that includes Kaka, Paulo Henrique Ganso, Alan Kardec and Alexandre Pato.
Kaka has moved home on a loan deal until the end of the calendar year, having signed for new MLS franchise Orlando City upon the end of his AC Milan contract.
