Palmeiras forward Henrique has admitted he is upset that he failed to score against Cruzeiro in the Brasileirão on Sunday.
Henrique’s team were beaten 2-1 but had he found the net and not fired over the bar when the goal was gapping the result might have been different.
Nevertheless, the forward is confident he’ll find the net soon.
“We’re sad, but I know that is not always so,” Henrique told Lancenet.
“It was two clear chances, unfortunately it was not a happy evening. But I’m calm, I know my potential and I hope to make a goal.
“Analysing after, I think I should get on the ball better but it was really fast, I was unbalanced and I just got under the ball.”
The 24-year-old felt Palmeiras deserved to get a draw out of Sunday’s game and is looking to bounce back in their next match.
Henrique added: “In my view, we deserved the draw. Unfortunately we could not.
“Our team donated enough, and left sad because it is no good if you leave defeated. I’d rather play poorly and win, but we try to reconcile the two.”
