São Paulo Ganso disappointed his side failed to convert their chances against Chapecoens
São Paulo’s Paulo Henrique Ganso was disappointed not to defeat Chapecoens on Saturday night.
Tricolor’s shock 1-0 defeat leave them third in the Brasileirão and the playmaker was frustrated that they couldn’t convert their opportunities against the lowly new boys.
Speaking to Lancenet after the game, Ganso said: “We had the ball on our foot, we had opportunities.
“In our error moment, marking, they ended up getting a goal. Everyone helped, we had chances to score.
“We took the team close and still created opportunities. Unfortunately it did not go in, it failed to be perfect.”
Ganso has enjoyed an upturn in fortune lately and has been one of the stars of the Brasileirão this season scoring twice and creating four goals in eleven appearances.
Although he failed to help São Paulo win on Saturday, his good form is earning him plenty of attention.
