Real Madrid confirm Casemiro loan to FC Porto
Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro has completed his move to FC Porto, moving to the 2004 Champions League winners on loan for the upcoming European season; the deal includes an option for a permanent transfer a year from now.
Casemiro, who moved to Real from Sao Paulo on a full-time basis last summer, is keen to get more exposure to first team football despite helping to win European football's biggest prize last term.
A statement on Real's website read: "Real Madrid and FC Porto have reached an agreement for the loan of the player Casemiro for the 2014-15 season."
"Porto reserve an option to buy at the end of the season. If the Portuguese club execute this, Real Madrid will retain an option to but back back the player."
Casemiro has won five full international caps for Brazil, although he was not considered for the recent World Cup in which his team made the semi finals.
