Rogério Ceni eyeing another record with São Paulo

The Tricolor’s goalkeeper and captain will achieve his 600th victory with the club if they overcome Chapecoense in the Brasileirão today.

Rogério Ceni has a habit of making records. He has already made 1,149 appearances for São Paulo with 599 wins, 260 draws and 290 defeats.

His first victory in a São Paulo shirt came on 25 July 1993, in the Santiago de Compostela Cup in Spain, as his team ran out 4-1 winners against Tenerife.

The 41-year-old has since gone on to achieve an unprecedented amount with the Morumbi outfit. With 118 goals, he is the highest scoring goalkeeper in the history of the sport.
