Santos Head Coach Oswaldo de Oliveira is hopeful that Robinho can return to the club.
The Milan forward is believed to be in negotiations to join Kaka at new Major League Soccer side Orlando City, but would need a club to play with until March 2015, which is when they will join the league.
With Kaka returning to his former club Sao Paulo, it has been suggested that Robinho could also temporarily head back to Brazil and sign with Santos.
“I would take Robinho with open arms, but I have no information (about negotiations). He would be the icing on our cake,” stated de Oliveira, as reported by Rossoneri Blog.
Should Robinho return to Santos, it will be his third spell at the club.
