Mundo Deportivo claim AC Milan are interesting in signing Barcelona defender Dani Alves.

The Brazilian has been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain this summer and only has one year remaining on his current contract with the Catalan club.

Alves has always insisted he would like to stay with the Spanish side but it seems the Italian giants are plotting a move for him.

Mundo Deportivo think Milan will make a move for Alves and his club team mate Alex Song and reports in Italy back up those claims.

The 31-year-old failed to impress during the 2014 World Cup and was eventually dropped by then Brazil head coach Luiz Felipe Scolari.

However, his disappointing performances have failed to put off Milan and other clubs interested in securing his signature.

If Alves was to move to the San Siro he would follow in the footsteps of former team mate Ronaldinho.
