The Brazilian league will resume tonight, just two days after the World Cup final, as a full schedule of Serie B fixtures take place across the country.

The pick of the fixtures is undoubltedly the clash in Fortaleza, where current leaders Ceará take on second placed Joinville, as the visitors look to leapfrog their hosts at the top of the table.

At the opposite end of the standings, bottom club Vila Nova, who have amassed a measly two points and scored a disappointing two goals in ten games this season, will host second-to-bottom Boa.

Elsewhere, third placed Luverdense host fifth placed ABC and the Arena das Dunas in Natal, the last game at which saw Luis Suárez bite Giorgio Chiellini in the World Cup clash between Uruguay and Italy, will play host to América-RN against Bragantino.
