Brazil forward Fred is hopeful that owners Fluminense will give him some time off following the conclusion of the World Cup.
The 30 year-old, who has now retired from international football, told reporters that he needed time to clear his head after a difficult tournament.
“The club offered me a break after the Confederations Cup and I didn’t take it, he said, as reported by Football Italia. “But now I need time to compose myself and forget everything that happened here.”
