Germany Head Coach Joachim Low is confident that his side can make history.

No European side has ever won the World Cup in Latin American, but the German’s can achieve that feat if they beat Argentina at the Maracana on Sunday.

“In the past we never had this, so we know we can write history,” said Low, as reported by FIFA.com.

“Latin Americans, on this continent, have dominated all the time. So why can we not be the first? This could be considered an additional joy for us if we were to win as Europeans on Latin American soil.”
