Brazil defender Dani Alves has revealed he is unsure if his futures lies with current side Barcelona.

The 31-year-old has been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain since the 2013/14 season ended but that appears a move unlikely to happen now.

Alves does only have one year remaining on his Barcelona contract and could yet see out that final 12 months but a move away from the Camp Nou continues to be speculated.

The Brazilian full-back did reveal to Mundo Deportivo that his future is in the hands of Catalan clubs.

Football Espapa quoted Alves, he said: “I don’t know what I’ll do next year. I’ll meet with Barca and decide. If they want me to stay, I will.

“I have my contract and can stay another year. But it doesn’t depend only on me.

“Since I got here I’ve given my all to Barca, regardless of the last two years of not anything, which left me feeling empty as well.”

As Alves alluded too, the last couple of seasons haven’t been as profitable as Barcelona would have hoped.

Therefore it may be time for Alves and the La Liga club to go their separate ways, we await further news regarding the future of the Brazilian and it seems his destination for the 2014/15 season will be confirmed after the conclusion of the World Cup.
