Head Coach Luiz Felipe Scolari has tried to find the positives in Brazil’s 7-1 defeat to Germany.
The loss will go down as perhaps the Selecao’s worst in their illustrious history, but Scolari believes that reaching the semi-finals should still be considered an achievement.
“It’s the first time since 2002 that Brazil have reached the semi-final,” he insisted, as reported by Football Italia.
“We suffered a bad defeat, worse than we could’ve ever imagined, but it’s not all bad. We were so bad that we reached the semi-final of a World Cup…”
