Brazil boss Luiz Felipe Scolari has issued a rallying call to his team ahead of their massive World Cup Semi Final against Germany this evening, leaving them in no doubt as to how important the game is to the entire host country.

Speaking ahead of the game in Belo Horizonte, the Head Coach said defiantly: “This match we’ll be playing not just for ourselves but for our country, for everything we’ve ever dreamed of, but also for Neymar and everything he’s done for us.”

“Within our group, we’ve accepted that. We’ve left our said phase behind and we’re focussing on other things.”

“Neymar is one of our references and one of the best players in  the world but we have another 22 players who have been hand-picked and capped because we know they are special.”

The game kicks off at 2100 BST, and you can follow our live text updates from an hour before the action gets under way.
