Germany's Schweinsteiger wary of Brazil ahead of semi final
Germany midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger says he is in no doubt that the absence of Neymar will drive Brazil to new levels of willpower when the sides meet in the last four of the World Cup tomorrow evening in Belo Horizonte.
Bayern Munich's Schweinsteiger told reporters ahead of the showdown: "We're all feeling deeply saddened that he won't be able to play."
"It's always best when the greatest players are on the pitch for the great matches. I think his teammates are going to rally round even more now with him out, and they'll want to win the World Cup for him. They'll derive strength from that."
"The loss of Neymar can be a strength and weld the team together."
"They've got a lot of strengths. They've got the individual class of player on their team. They've got a lot of good players."
The winners of tomorrow's game will play in the Final at the Maracana on Sunday against either Argentina or Holland.
