Luiz Felipe Scolari will need to choose replacements for the suspended Thiago Silva and the injured Neymar for their semi-final clash with Germany.

The Brazil coach will likely select Dante to fill in for captain Silva, and Willian in place of the World Cup hosts’ poster boy.

There is some good news for Brazil, as Luiz Gustavo is available again after serving his suspension during the quarter final against Colombia.

Whether Scolari will make further personnel or tactical changes remains to be seen, but the Brazil players will surely have to be near their very best to defeat a resilient Germany side.

The semi final in Belo Horizonte begins at 2100 BST on Tuesday, and you can follow the action with text commentary on Sambafoot.com.

Predicted starting XI: Júlio César, Maicon, Dante, David Luiz, Marcelo, Luiz Gustavo, Paulinho, Oscar, Willian, Hulk, Fred.
