Medic insists vertebra injury will not compromise Neymar’s career
Jose Luiz Runco, a Brazilian medic, insists Neymar’s career will not be compromised by the vertebra injury his suffered against Colombia.
The Barcelona forward is expected to be out for around 45 days, but Runco assures that their will be no lasting damage.
“I can confirm the fracture of a vertebra, but fortunately the bone marrow was untouched, so Neymar’s career and normal every day life will not be compromised,” he said, as reported by Football Italia.
“His recovery will take between three and six weeks, so we expect him to be sidelined for 40-45 days.”
