Brazil head coach Luiz Felipe Scolari perhaps gave some indication of how his side will line up against Colombia tomorrow as his side prepared for the game in front of the country’s media.

With crucial holding midfielder Luiz Gustavo absent through suspension for the World Cup Quarter Final, Scolari selected Paulinho alongside Fernandinho in a training exercise for his predicted starting XI.

The theory would be that Paulinho, who had been dropped for the penalty shootout win over Chile, will come in to central midfield in place of Gustavo, but Fernandinho will pick up the more defensive role of the pair.

In the latter part of the session, Scolari gave right back Maicon a run out ahead of Dani Alves, and also played Henrique at the expense of striker Fred, hinting that Brazil may take a more defensive approach in order to contain the offensive Colombians in Fortaleza tomorrow evening.
