Fifa is analysing images of Fred raising a hand to Chile’s Gary Medel during the World Cup second round match in Belo Horizonte last Saturday, according to O Estado de S. Paulo.
Medel reacted to Fred’s half-time pat on thehead by shoving the Flamengo captain.
The Brazil striker may be punished if the governing body’s disciplinary committee determines that Fred was acting out of aggression.
