The Brazil midfielder believes that the squad is mentally strong after the penalty shootout against Chile.
Much has been made of the tears that Brazilian players have shed at this World Cup but Ramires thinks that it’s ‘normal’.
He said: “I’ve been there at the end of the Champions League, I saw much more experienced players crying. This is a normal emotion of the match that goes to penalties.
“All the players are and were prepared. We went through, it is because we were prepared. If another shootout comes, we’ll be even more prepared for what happened against Chile.”
