Colombia striker Jackson Martinez has described playing hosts Brazil in the Quarter Finals of the World Cup as an honour, ahead of the game in Fortaleza this coming Friday.

The FC Porto hitman told reporters: “It will be a privilege to play against Brazil. It’ll be a major challenge for us. We’ll keep working to go as far as possible in the World Cup.”

“Brazil does not scare Colombia, but be careful with their stars (five, one for each world title). Now, we have our strengths and that’s what allowed us to reach the Quarter Finals.”

Colombia have impressed many at this World Cup, staying true to form as one of the tournament’s dark horses to win it and in James Rodriguez, they have the star that has been born at the competition.

The Monaco attacker hit one of the goals of the championships in the last round against Uruguay and sits on five strikes, one ahead of Brazil talisman Neymar.
