The Seleção legend is worried that the World Cup hosts will sorely miss the Wolfsburg midfielder against Colombia.
Gustavo picked up a yellow card in the match against Chile, which was his second of this competition, and Zico believes that Brazil could be overrun in the middle during their next game.
“In midfield, the second yellow card for Luiz Gustavo was bad news. He is our best man-marker and would have been quite useful to keep [James] Rodríguez at bay. [Juan] Cuadrado is another player the Brazilians will have to find a strategy to deal with," Zico told The Guardian.
