Former Brazil striker Ronaldo, twice a winner of the FIFA World Cup, has stated his belief that the final of this year’s competition will see his country face off against perennial continental rivals Argentina on July 13.

The 98 times-capped forward told Spanish newpaper Marca: “I not only think but I’m pretty sure the final will be Brazil versus Argentina. It will be a dream… it’ll be a dream if we win. If we lose it will be a nightmare. So hopefully Argentina lose before then.”

On tomorrow’s game with Chile, Ronaldo continued: “My opinion is that Chile are infinitely more concerned than the Brazil team, not only for the football but for the record.”

And he has tipped a certain fellow Brazilian to keep shining: “Neymar, for me, has been the stand out of the World Cup.”

The game in Belo Horizonte against the Chileans takes place at 1700 GMT, with match previews and live commentary provided by Sambafoot as standard.
