Brazil midfielder Ramires has vowed not to underestimate second round opponents Chile when the sides meet on Saturday in Belo Horizonte, following the World Cup hosts’ win over Cameroon yesterday evening.

The Chelsea man told SporTV: “It’s a tough team, a strong brand. They touch the ball with quick players who like to play and also let you play.”

“We already have the experience of having faced Chile, but there’s always something new.”

In relation to Selecao’s 4-1 win over Cameroon, Ramires added: “Each gave himself a little more. Everyone is to be congratulated for what we did in the match. We show that if we put this commitment and desire in the next game, we get to the final.”

Ramires’ bold words will be welcomed by Brazil fans, who have yet to see their team hit top gear as they negotiated their way through the group stages to face the Chileans in five days’ time.
