Chelsea playmaker Oscar has confirmed that he has indeed had a level of contact with French champions PSG regarding a possible summer transfer – but insists that is as far as it has gone so far.
The Brazil midfielder, 22, told lancenet.com: “I had some contact with Paris Saint-Germain, it is true, but there was nothing beyond that. Next season, I remain as a Chelsea player.”
The French side have already announced the signing of fellow Blues player David Luiz in time for next term, and boast several countrymen in their ranks, such as Marquinhos, Lucas Moura and national team captain Thiago Silva.
Oscar is thought to be happy in London and has often been labelled by boss Jose Mourinho as the centrepoint from which he would like to build a championship-winning side.
