Dani Alves has praised Barcelona team mate Alexis Sánchez after it was confirmed that Brazil would face Chile in the round of 16.
The experienced full-back likened the Chilean attacker to Brazil’s Neymar as well. Lancenet quoted Alves on Alexis Sánchez, he said: “He is an unbalancing player.
“He has a good dribble. We must be well aware of it. We need help. He is quite similar to Neymar in the way he dribbles and we must be well positioned collectively.”
The Barcelona defender went on to discuss how in the knock-out phase mistakes are punished and they must cut them out.
He thinks Brazil will take a lot of confidence from their 4-1 win over Cameroon into the match against Chile.
Alves added: “Now comes the phase of the knock-out, where mistakes are paid dearly.
“We must be prepared. This victory against Cameroon was a moral injection to enter this next phase with confidence a little better.”
