Neymar praised Brazil after their 4-1 victory over Cameroon and insisted it was their best game of the 2014 World Cup.

The hosts had failed to truly fire prior to their final Group A fixture but were largely excellent against their African opposition.

The Barcelona man scored twice to inspire a victory which ensured they finished in top spot.

Sky Sports quoted the 22-year-old after the game, he said: “If I am not mistaken, this was our best game, everyone deserves to be praised for working hard until the end I think.

“The responsibility I have on the pitch is to help my team-mates, create chances and help marking too, everyone has this mission.”

Although Neymar has a large amount of responsibility on his shoulders, he has refuted claims that he is more important than anyone else is in the team.

The young attacker also insisted Brazil are confident ahead of their knock-out round match against Chile on Saturday.

He added: “Nobody is more important than anyone – everyone is important We deserved this score and we are more confident to face Chile.”
