The Brazil players have gone head-to-head in a singing competition on the Globo show ‘Esquenta’.
During a visit to the national team’s Granja Comary training ground, the singer Mumuzinho challenged the Seleção to put their voices to the test, UOL.com reports.
Each player chose a samba to sing and Thiago Silva went first, picking ‘A Amizade’ by Fundo de Quintal.
Then Neymar chose Mumuzinho’s ‘Aceita Ai’. Marcelo and Dani Alves were the last to take part, improvising a samba.
A public vote ajudged Thiago Silva to be the winner. His countrymen will be hoping that it is not the last honour that he will claim this summer.
