Uruguay physio Walter Ferreira has hailed the recovery of Luis Suárez.
The Liverpool forward scored a crucial brace to give his side a 2-1 win against England in their second Group D match.
After netting his first, Suárez went to celebrate with Ferreira, but the physio claims he deserved the brace for the hard work he had put into his recovery.
“He deserves it, he worked hard to be here today,” he said, as reported by The Independent. “I couldn’t go to the (training) resort, so he would come to my house. He gave it all, his wife, his family, I’m truly grateful.
