It seems that AC Milan playmaker Kaká will be moving to America after it was confirmed that he is in talks to join Orlando City.

The 32-year-old is an advanced discussions with the MLS club after the new franchise confirmed they are close to reaching an agreement with the Brazilian.

A short statement from Orlando City read: “Orlando City Soccer Club is in advanced discussions with Kaká.

“Pending completion of the potential player agreement, Kaká would join Orlando City SC in January 2015 prior to the Club’s first season in Major League Soccer.

“The Club will have no additional comment until further notice.”

The Brazilian has long been linked with a move to the MLS franchise and it now seems certain he’ll play his football with them in 2015. However, where Kaká starts the new campaign remains unknown.

The move is an intriguing one for the former Real Madrid ace as many still believe he can compete in a league viewed as more competitive than the MLS but he will be joining various former star players in the league.

Although not confirmed, it seems only a matter of time before Kaká is an Orlando City player.
