Brazil head coach Luiz Felipe Scolari concedes Mexico draw is not a good result
Brazil head coach Luiz Felipe Scolari conceded a draw was not a good result against Mexico but was satisfied with the performance.
The host nation were held to a 0-0 draw by Mexico in their second Group A match thanks in part to the goalkeeping heroics of Guillermo Ochoa.
Sky Sports quoted Scolari after he had spoken to SporTV after the game.
The head coach said: "I am satisfied. It was a good game, both teams showed they wanted the goal, showed quality, teamwork, physical strength. The 0-0 reflects well how the game was.”
The Brazil boss then warned fans that they can’t expect the hosts to get everything there own way.
He believes they need to respect every team they play, Scolari added: "Brazil have been playing the same way for the last 20 games, we showed quality, but the draw is not a good result.
"We're facing good teams, we have to remember that. We have to respect our opposition."
Cameroon await Brazil in the final Group A match and Brazil will be confident of progressing but there poor start will certainly worry fans.
