Paris Saint-Germain defender Marquinhos has reacted coyly when asked about his future with speculation continuingly linking him with a move.
The young Brazilian has been strongly linked with Barcelona, even more so since PSG signed Chelsea’s David Luiz, a previous target for the Catalan club.
Marquinhos only joined the Ligue 1 side from Roma last season but didn’t play as regularly as he might have liked last season and made just 17 starts in the French league, though he did pick up a league winners medal.
The former Roma man spoke to French TV show Telefoot about his future recently and admitted until told otherwise, he will remain with PSG.
Sky Sports quoted the 20-year-old, he said: “My future will be decided by PSG, because I am under contract here.
“I am staying so far. There is nothing official. For now I am a PSG player.”
