Brazil and Mexico will both go into this game with confidence having won their opening matches of the World Cup 2014, against Croatia and Cameroon respectively.

Mexico, who had two goals wrongfully disallowed in Friday’s game, will aim to be more daring than the Croats in the final third when facing Brazil.

The Central Americans’ coach, Miguel Herrera, is pushing his squad to exceed expectations and he is becoming one of the most colourful characters of the competition, following his unrestrained celebrations after his team’s goal against Cameroon.

Mexico are likely to come into the match unchanged but Brazil’s starting line-up will depend upon how serious Hulk’s muscle injury is. The Zenit St Petersburg attacker limped out of training on Sunday but is confident of recovering to face the Mexicans.
