Goalkeeper Júlio César believes Luiz Felipe Scolari’s previous experience at FIFA World Cup’s will be key.

The veteran tactician won the tournament with Brazil in 2002 and also had a run to the latter stages with Portugal in 2006.

Speaking after the Seleção’s 3-1 win over Croatia, Júlio César noted that Felipão was pleased with the victory and expects him to be an important weapon for Brazil, as the tournament progresses.

“He was very satisfied,” he told Sky Sport Italia. “He is experienced, knows well the atmosphere of the World Cup and I think that, being so experienced, he is able to convey so many positive things.”
