Croatia boss Kovac says his players can nullify NeymarNeymar has 31 international goals to his credit
Ahead of the eagerly anticipated start of the 2014 FIFA World Cup, Croatia head coach Nico Kovac has claimed that his charges know how to stifle the threat of Brazil's Neymar in tonight's opening game.
Kovac told the gathering press: "Brazil is not only Neymar- they have a great team, but Croatia also have excellent players."
"All those in the team know how nice it is to play for Croatia and how much we love our people. We will leave our heart on the field."
"In Berlin (2006 World Cup, where Brazil won 1-0), we were not able to surprise them, but we will give our best. Possession is very important because Brazilians do not like to run for the ball."
